re Instrument Boards - Myth. 700

We confirm our conversation of yesterday re the instrument board projects for Myth.

1. Translucent dials will be an essential feature of any post-war car.

2. We may use the A.C. Speedometer if the A.T. is incapable of accommodating Translucent dials and an electric clock.

3. The translucent white dials will be used on the first car, with R.R. characteristic lettering throughout, and a line of development will be set-up to discover a black dial with white lettering coupled with a hand which will be visible in the dark.

4. The standard radio control as drawn will be used on the first car, and a subsequent project of a bezel control around the main switch will be the line of future development.

5. The instruments will be closed up as much as possible. (this is possible with interior illumination and Translucent dials).

We are now in a position to complete a/scheme for an instrument board for the first car.
