Walsall Locks & Cart Gear Ltd.,
Neale Street,
W A L L S A L.

Attention of Mr. Cooper.

Dear Sirs,

We are sending you under separate cover two "overall" locks. You will see that these have both broken in the same place. One of them is the re-designed lock which you sent to us last April for trial.

We shall be obliged if you will have these repaired and re-turned to us as soon as possible, as the cars from which they have been taken will be out of commission until the locks are replaced.

It would appear that the material for the broken part should be improved or the part again redesigned to give additional strength, before this particular type of lock goes into production.

Yours faithfully,
