Dear Sirs, X.1581 X.1109 re- Transformer for Insulation Testing. With reference to your enquiry dated the 8th inst., Ref. Wa{Mr Wallis}/Msl/FJB.10.20. we now have pleasure in submitting our quotation for the Transformer specified. We are quoting for Transformers of 3 KVA output each suitable for a ratio of 200/20,000 volts at 42 cycles per second. Our price for these Transformers is £84.0.0 (Eighty four pounds) each nett. The transformers will be of our standard single-phase oil cooled "Berry" type enclosed in sheet steel cases fitted with bare type terminals in the cover of the case on the E.H.T. side, and procelain bushes for the incoming L.T. leads. We include for the fitting of rollers, We have not included for the supply of any regulating resistance or voltmeters as we presume you will supply these yourselves. In connection with the regulation of the voltage we would mention that we ourselves use a simple water resistance inserted in the primary side of the transformer, which can be made up very cheaply and by means of which any desired regulation can be obtained. We include for the supply of the necessary amount of our standard transformer oil and delivery f.o.r. Derby. Packing will be charged extra, but credited in full when returned carriage paid in good condition, Terms nett cash in one month following delivery. Contd | ||
