RR 238 (150 BKS.) (D9 461-8-12 24) MP 306975 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: E.7.B. Date: 19-5-1927 Order No. WC18 Customer's No. X 4079 Coil NO 4554 returned faulty from Repair dept. This coil was handed to us by Mr. Brock for investigation the report being that it developed faulty on a chassis. We have now examined this coil on the bench as follows:- 1) Production tested - secondary milliamps slightly high also primary current. 2) Primary + secondary resistances ascertained and found to be OK. 3) Run under normal conditions only on 14V battery for 50 hrs without any sign or suggestion of failure.
