The remarks in yours EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/T4.2.21 were duly communicated to Conner Magneto & Ignition Ltd. and we are thismorning in receipt of a reply from said firm, dated 7th inst. as follows:-

"We are in receipt of your letter of the 5th inst. "also the contact breaker returned from the six cyl. "magneto which you have been testing.

"We note your remarks about the material, and the "lever of the contact breaker being too soft, and we "are disappointed that this should have happened on "so short an endurance test. You are right in "assuming that this kind of failure is rare; as a "matter of fact, we have never had such a one before.

"We have returned the contact breaker fitted with "another lever, and trust this will satisfactorily "complete your test. We much appreciate the trouble "you are taking."

The contact breaker mentioned has not yet come to hand, but same shall be handed to you immediately on arrival.
