URGENT.

Will you please fill in on this sheet what tests you consider a new chassis should go through before going onto production, i.e. on the road, on the dynamometer and other test apparatus, with special regard to the sections you are responsible for.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Cr.{Mr Cra???ster / Mr Chichester}

1. 100 hours on the Bumper rig for frame & springs.
2. 100 hours. Engine endurance, bearings, piston etc.
3. Dynamometer test for Gear Box and axle.
1st Gear - 2 hours full throttle 2,000. RPM.
2nd " - 30 "
3rd " - 30 "
Top. - 1 "
Overdrive if fitted 100 hours this would be Enough for axle test.

Complete Chassis test programme:-

15,000 miles test in England under all conditions - i.e. London city traffic - Brooklands rough country in Wales.

15,000 miles test on the Continent.

The complete car test should be repeated by a second, or even a third car built under the same specification
