Dear Sirs, Thank you for your letter of May 16th. We note that the longest slides and rail that you make for your line contact type fittings is fifteen and sixteen inch. Under the circumstances, we have decided to try these lengths and should we find at a later date that the increased length is necessary, we shall ask you to make the necessary tools. We should like these fittings to have your L.69 lever. We are asking our Purchasing Department to send you our official order for two sets of these fittings, cadmium finish i.e. fittings for two seats. We are also returning the sample seat slides which you sent us as follows :- 1 set of Mark 111/6. 1 slide pair of Mark 6/DZ fitted with silencing device. 1 set of Mark 27 fittings.
