-2- Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}3/MB/2/24. Re output of 40/50HP chassis, I have now got further information from Mr.Cowen as to his requirements, and he definitely states that we shall require to put on test complete chassis with the present gearbox to the number of 120, that is 14 per week for four weeks including the week that we are just finishing, so that if we are putting 14 chassis on test this week we should only require 14 per week for three weeks after, and then to drop to 8 per week for eight weeks; after this no further chassis to go on test until we have the new gearbox and front wheel brakes. With reference to ordering of further new material beyond "T" series, whilst it would be useful early in March to prepare a chart we shall have to be cautious as far as we can not to order further material, because at the present time we cannot forecast the immediate future.
