BRAKE PEDAL MOVEMENT FOR PHANTOM III.

We are informed by the Design Dept. that it ought to be possible to push this pedal down to the floorboards when the brakes have worn enough.

Unfortunately we now cover the floorboards with two layers of thick noise-proof carpet, so the reserve of pedal movement to allow for wear is reduced considerably.

We would like to have the pedal stem lengthened by 3/8" to allow for this.

We have noticed that under a load of 200 lbs. this pedal stem bends quite considerably, due no doubt to its curvature. The round section rod on Car No. 2 is scoured where it has been rubbing. We would like to see this rod stiffened to prevent this.
