20 HP. SLIPPER FLYWHEEL. X.5300

We send you herewith drawing LeC.2126., shewing the 20 HP. slipper flywheel made with 4 strong dowel pins dowelling one half of the flywheel to the other half.
The object of this alteration is to prevent breakage of the spring bolts should one of the flywheels become galled.
At the same time the spring bolt has been slightly modified to provide more clearance around the stem, and it is important to ensure also that sufficient clearance exists between the springs and the counter-bores in the rear flywheel to avoid the trouble of bolts breaking in future.
