6066 June 30th 1937 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.1/AP. T.Harris Esq., Messrs Joseph Lucas Ltd., Great King Street, BIRMINGHAM 19 Dear Mr.Harris, You will remember having made up for us a short time ago a pair of W.T.23 horns with the long trumpet. We have tested these horns and agree that for outside use they have insufficient power, but in view of the very much reduced current consumption we do feel that every effort should be made to make these horns louder especially in view of the fact that when these are used as under-bonnet type with the short trumpet they seem considerably louder. Yours sincerely, | ||
