We are now ready for the chassis 9-PK as the Barker enclosed limousine is ready for mounting. Would you please tell us when we can expect this will be at their Works?

On completion of this car it will be brought to Derby, and after the body and wings have been removed the chassis will go to Hoopers for their enclosed limousine.

The Barker one will be finished Works Grey, but the Hooper we propose having finished at the Enamelcar Co. Works.

These two cars will take us well on into April. By that time the cabriolet at Barkers will be ready, and should 'V' series have then been announced we could send a proper experimental 'V' series chassis, otherwise we shall need to convert 9-PK to 'C' steering.

Regarding the body for R.{Sir Henry Royce} this will be on a 'D' steering short chassis 'V' series, with underframe suspension, and if we are able to place the order soon, will be awaiting the chassis early in May. We shall by then no doubt be able to send the actual chassis to the coachbuilders.

We give you this information in order that you may prepare chassis for the various bodies, by fitting wider and higher xxxx dashes, modified rear spring anchorages, and special side levers.
