At the Works at the moment we have the following electrical units taken from the above car:-

1. Dynamo.
2. Cut-out and Distribution Board.
3. Switch.

Would you kindly send for the three units in question and have same carefully investigated in your Department as it is quite probable that you will be able, looking at the parts with a better understanding of the parts than anyone else in the Works, to indicate where the trouble started.

In looking at the parts casually, it is evident that the owner has been very careless in dealing with the units, having been very heavy handed in connection with the cut-out. They appear to have put in fuses which it was impossible to blow in order to keep running. This may have caused the trouble with the dynamo, owing to a partial short being existant somewhere else.
