Cox - Advertising Manager}16/KW15.2.37, the third paragraph of your memo suggests that 3.AZ.22 may be suffering from an exhaust noise, or an over-run groan in the transmission . We have no experience of tyres which are quiet with the clutch disengaged and yet bad for noise when the engine is pulling. However, you should be able to confirm the matter by the test on 3.AZ.38. Our tests round here, which we know can be made to reproduce London conditions fairly closely, indicate that the new trials should be altogether better than the previous pattern.
