contd :- -2- Our impression is that the Lucas magnetos when new are quite quiet but develop noise during service - there are exceptions to this, of course - viz: the magneto on 7-EX, but on the other hand the three we have running at present are undeniably noisy, though would probably compare favourably with the earlier E.W.6. magnetos. The latest E.W.6. magnetos have probably made us more critical, they are such a great improvement upon the E.O.6; and the early E.W.6., upon present showing.
