Dear Mr. Bowering,

I must thank you for your letter of the 29th ult. enclosing blue prints of water pump drive on 40/50 and 20/25 cars.

These prints are exactly what I want, but I am not clear as to how much of the drive shown on the print, is existing today in each case.

In the circumstances, therefore, I think we had better have a further chat on this subject and I propose visiting your Works on Tuesday next, the 9th inst. and trust this will be convenient for you.

With regard to the rams on the hydraulic jacks, I note that you would favour a centrally fitted ram on the front axle of the cars and I think there will be no difficulty about this on our special 2-stage ram.

Referring to your last paragraph re front fittings for D.W.S. on 20/25 h.p. cars, I am instructing the Works to remove the fitting bosses on the brackets in question, to enable these to be fitted lower and I enclose a blue print showing the modification, herewith.

Yours very truly,

Donald Sessions
Director.
