FLIP FLAP SHUTTERS.

It is proposed that the modifications to the flip flap shutters showed to 'R' on the rivetless bonnet on 22-EX are adopted as standard as soon as it is possible without causing scrap.

The modifications in question are :-

(1) Flip flap shutters centrally pivoted.
(2) " " " arranged symmetrically along the bonnet sides.

The second modification can come on as soon as the existing stock of bonnet sides is used up (viz: bonnet sides with panels cut out to suit the old sliding shutter).

Neither modification entails any new parts.
