To R.{Sir Henry Royce} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} c. to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}6/KT.19.10.31. X1085 X7260 FLIP FLAP SHUTTERS. It is proposed that the modifications to the flip flap shutters showed to 'R' on the rivetless bonnet on 22-EX are adopted as standard as soon as it is possible without causing scrap. The modifications in question are :- (1) Flip flap shutters centrally pivoted. (2) " " " arranged symmetrically along the bonnet sides. The second modification can come on as soon as the existing stock of bonnet sides is used up (viz: bonnet sides with panels cut out to suit the old sliding shutter). Neither modification entails any new parts. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} | ||
