Many thanks for your letter.

Did you observe that the car illustrated in the attached photograph averaged over 100 M.P.H. for the 24 hours with a 1600 c.c. engine? This appears to me to be an astonishingly good performance.

Let me know how your order for the Bugatti progresses.

I shall be in Cornwall for ten days from to-morrow onwards.
