We have already proved very definitely that the subframe mounting does reduce vibrations and noises in the body. We demonstrated this fact to The Coachwork Sub-committee. Attached is a copy of their report and also a much later memo, in which it was considered by Sales a doubtful advantage.

Several of the subframe mounted bodies have run over 10,000 miles. The only trouble we have had has been the movement between the dash and the scuttle. We consider that this will be effectively overcome by the friction damper.
