I have just been asked by the Accountants Department what they are to do with a charge of 12/6d for storage of this car at Sanderson & Holmes from March 2nd to March 10th, and from April 26th to April 30th. The last information we have in regard to this car is Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/R21.4.39, following a call by Mr.Hall, when you discussed with me what features should be left on and what taken off this particular chassis, the work to be done at Mr.Hall's expense. Perhaps you will kindly let me know what the present position is. As regards this 12/6d, this was apparently incurred before this work was done and was no doubt your reason for asking me to try and urge him to take the car away. I think we can dispose of this when I know the situation of the car, and what charges we are going to make to Mr.Hall. C. | ||
