DUNLOP WIRE WHEELS WITH STRAIGHT SPOKES ON THE INSIDE. Drawing No. Part List Origin. To reduce spoke failures. Experimental Test Report. Our experience proves that we get most spoke failures with the inside spokes which take most of the driving and braking. The wheels are inter-changeable with the present standard. Road Test Report. Run 3500 miles on 4-EX. The same wheels have run 2750 miles on 6-EX car. We recommend we take advantage of this improvement which is recommended by Messrs. Dunlop. A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works. C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
