SPECIFICATION OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT ON 18.G.IV.

FOR 10,000 MILES TEST.

We give below a list of the modifications required to the electrical system on 18.G.IV.

DYNAMO. This is to be one of the D.sch.546 dynamos now being built up by T.T.

CAV. REGULATOR UNIT. A unit has been made up for the above dynamo and should be mounted in a horizontal position on the dash (engine side).

STARTER SWITCH. A standard 20/25 magnetic main switch should be fitted in place of the, now obsolete, direct oil switch.

PUSH BUTTON. The latest push button (proposed for all chassis) to D.100250 should be fitted to the instrument facia board.

HORNS. We are ordering a special pair of horns for this chassis and these should be mounted underneath the headlamp pillars using brackets EX.8903.

MAGNETO & MAGNETO DRIVE. It has been agreed that these shall be deleted owing to the fact that the new dynamo is designed to run without a magneto and no suitable drive has been designed.
