X.2748 I consider that the Works should only produce sufficient aluminium pistons to keep them going comfortably, that is, they should not accumulate a big stock of Aluminium Pistons. It is not until we get a number of Cars in Customers hands that we can really judge whether the disadvantage will be tolerated also we have hopes of being able to produce/piston which will be an improvement over the present type as regards the tendency to knock.
