| To: "Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} " DERBY. 35 1380 (handwritten) PARIS Sr21/Dn.18.11.37 Stream-Lined Bentley. ------------------- Dear Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} , I have just seen Mr Paulin, who has brought along the efforts of the front appearance of the stream lined Bentley "to come" we hope, also a full side view of the model shown on the left of the frontal view. Personally I prefer, and so does Mr Paulin, the right-hand model, which, apart from the modified radiator, is a replica of our small wooden model. However, as it is immaterial to him which of the two models we adopt, I thought it would be interesting for you to see the two drawings, which I am sending you separately, so that you could let me have your opinion. You will notice that we have protected both these drawings with paper, which you will have to detach in order to get at the pictures. The sole object of this is to avoid any chafing which would of course have deteriorated the drawings done with a charcoal pencil. When you have had time to examine same, and given me your point of view, will you kindly return the drawings, protected in a similar manner, and carefully packed.
