Summary of clutch tests concluding the unit for the large bore Bentley is more durable and proposing a larger version for the 20/25 chassis.

Therefore, summarising the results obtained.
A clutch is a portion of a car which, if abused sufficiently,
can always be destroyed; therefore it is impossible to claim
complete immunity from trouble. However, as far as can
be ascertained from our tests, the clutch to be fitted to
the large bore Bentley is more durable than any previously
fitted to the car. It is certainly lighter, less costly,
and gives a smoother engines than the unit it replaces.

We propose to fit the next larger size to the
big bore 20/25, a car which is 20% heavier than the Bentley
and on which performance must be subservient to durability.
Chassis GLC-5 when returned to Eg. will be so equipped.
