I attach hereto, for your information, copy of Rl/M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} 11.4.26. You will note from same that R.{Sir Henry Royce} prefers LeC.2229. I understand that at E's recent visit it was decided we should stick to the longer rods, as Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} was definitely satisfied that they had a beneficial effect. In addition to this, E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} asked us to push the valve tappets somewhat closer into the cylinder, in order to make the angle continuous from end of the rocker lever to the bottom of the tappet. Will BY/TWD.{T. W. D???Aeith} please note that evidently R.{Sir Henry Royce} has a still further proposal for lightening the clutch and flywheel coming through, which he is treating as urgent.
