re 20/25 HP Cars.

Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}22/Es2.11.29

Referring to R2/M5.11.29 I should be glad to know what we have that is up-to-date at the present time in the way of a booklet giving our recommendations to coachbuilders for the 20 or the 20/25 chassis.

I believe that we have a fairly up-to-date book which was compiled by SV. in regard to Phantom II, but I believe that we have nothing so very up-to-date in regard to the smaller chassis. Would you please let me know?

I feel that, if we have not anything up-to-date, it would be excellent for a booklet to be prepared dealing with the points that we advise and recommend in connection with coachwork on the chassis, and I should imagine that SV. could be of great assistance to us in connection with this matter.

Dealing with the first two paragraphs of R's memo, I should be glad if Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} would investigate and report why the car with the Park Ward body referred to (17-G-4 I think) jellies badly.

It seems more important to find out why this one jellies than why the other one does not, although we can of course arrange for Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to try this if necessary - (perhaps he could do so when in London on Thursday).

Dealing with Item I, I am asking C. to investigate the question of the arrangement of spare wheels on the Prince of Wales's Phantom II.
