We have tightened up the main bearings of this car and fitted RR.56 liners to mains and big-ends. Please find attached our "Report upon Sinkage of Bearings and Alteration to Liners". We found the main bearings to be lightly scored. The surface of the big-ends was O.K. We carried out an oil test after effecting the above work and this was satisfactory. VA.VA/ | ||
