(5) Cylinder head - aluminium - or cast iron with 1.5" inlet valves and 7.35 : 1 compression ratio.
(6) Light alloy connecting rods - two available alternatives.
(7) Lighter flywheel - N. Sch.3948.
(8) Larger starter motor - RR. Sch.508.
(9) Helical gear oil pump - LeC.3746.
(10) Lighter improved oil pump casing - Scheme required.
(11) Oil sump drain plug at side of bottom half crankcase LeC.3735.
(12) Spring drive - separate slipper wheel - LeC.3602.
(13) Magnesium parts.
(14) Mods: to screws retaining ignition coil. LeC.3763.
(15) " to enable fan belt to be removed. LeC.3784.
(16) Improved lubrication of valve rocker shaft.

It is not possible at this comparatively early stage to detail a complete and final specification. Several of the items listed depend for their inclusion in the car, upon the results of development work at present in progress. These items are indicated by an underlining in black.
