Query regarding the status, repair time, series conformity, and mileage of car B-56-BN.

I understand from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} that B-56-BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} was to be handed over to you by Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} at the end of March for repair for resale. Will you please let me know if you now have this car in your possession, and approximately how long you will need to keep it before we can have it in London to deal with the coachwork renovation. When replying, will you please say if the car strictly conforms to the series indicated by its chassis number, and,if it differs in any way from that series, in what respect. Can you at the same time ascertain and let me know what is the total mileage run by the car, and if any of its units have done less mileage, perhaps you would kindly indicate that also.
