Copy of report made by Mr. F.{Mr Friese} Harvey re. accident at Pouilly on June 26th.1924.

June 26th. 1924.

I was proceeding along the road between La{L. A. Archer} Charite and Pouilly with 98-NK chassis, at about 30 m.p.h., on my correct side of the road, when a boy on a bicycle suddenly flashed across the road from out of a bye-lane, which also came into the right-hand side of the road. I had no chance whatever of avoiding the boy. The near-side head lamp struck the boy, carrying him and the bicycle along the road for about 10 yards, eventually throwing him on the road clear of the car. This was the shortest distance I could bring the car to a stand-still. I carried the boy to a cottage nearby, and afterwards I went for a doctor who accompanied me back to the boy. With the doctor's consent I took him back to his parents. Whilst the doctor was attending the boy, I went with a gentleman, who could speak English, to the Nationale Genarmerie at Pouilly, to report the case. All particulars were taken. Afterwards I rendered all assistance possible. The doctor certified the boy to be in a very serious condition. The boy's name and address is: ROGIER, Germain Charenton, Commune de Pouilly-sur-Loire, Nievre. Witness to the accident: W. Brazier - assistant on chassis. Check No.9045.

(signed) F.{Mr Friese} HARVEY.
