H12/KB61015. Re Steering Wobbles. We have a bad case of steering wobble in chassis No 1886. Sykes, and we should like to know whether you wish to take any part, say by sending someone here, in the investigations of it.. The car is not fitted with 7" Palmers, but with 6" and the wobble is a bad one at 12 miles per hour, on smooth or rough roads, up or down hill. We are making a very careful note of the various things we are doing and the results. We were very interested to hear Mr. Day's remarks to Mr Royce on the question of steering wobbles but we are bound to remark that these are largely academic and are not very helpful to us with suggestions as to the cure of actual cases, though they will doubtless prove very useful if any redesigning of the steering is considered necessary. Please let us hear from you if you wish to investigate the present case while it is in our hands.. amma H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} | ||
