S/W. (Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid{A. J. Lidsey}) o.{Mr Oldham} to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. to Sft.{Mr Swift} 85992. GFT-102 - R's CAR. Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}18/I/21-10-31. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid{A. J. Lidsey}4/KT19-10-31. If the intention is to drive the chassis by road to London and it comes down on Friday, we should like it to call here on its way to Park Ward's Works as Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} wants tosee the petrol tank. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} will be at S. up till about 12-30 p.m. and after 3 p.m. on Friday. If it was your intention to send the chassis to Park Wards by rail, Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} does not wish you to change your plans. Likewise, if you cannot get the chassis away on Friday but can despatch it on Saturday, it should go straight to Park Ward's Works: its despatch should not be held up until Monday merely to call here for Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} to see it. Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} [STAMP: RECEIVED 23 OCT 1931] | ||
