6-B-IV - Bentley.

This car was finished this morning. The engine ran quite well and generally satisfactory.
We have had to obtain two Dunlop tyres for the rear as all the tyres were used up. I have sent it down to Chateauroux for a consumption run, taking the men back also. It will return tomorrow, when a large induction pipe and carburetter will be fitted. A further consumption in conjunction with maximum speed will be taken, after which the car will return to Derby. I am sending Gardiner and Walsh back, so that they can carry on with 35-EX in London, leaving Waller and Rose to carry on with 22-G-V.{VIENNA}

22-G-V.{VIENNA}

This car will be brought up to Paris Thursday or Friday, for the new front springs and roll rod to be fitted. The runs afterwards to be a series of test runs for springing controllability etc., not mileage.
