Mr. North promises a more silent magneto, and one which affects the control less. There is to be - No magnetic effect, due to absence of sleeve, and the machine is to be equally as reliable as the present model. The new points are :- (a) Larger armature and no sleeve. (b) Laminated extended pole shoes. (c) Plain bearing to distributor wheel. (d) Bakelite wheel and pinion. x 5790 20 HP.MAGNETO. All this also applies to the 20 HP. magneto, except the gearing.
