Phantom III Trials Car.

Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}5/KWI0.3.36.

We have now received 35-EX back from abroad and, except for the broken part of the valve gear already reported and now replaced, the car is we understand running very satisfactorily and the driver is very pleased with it.

At the same time, as you know, this car is considerably out-of-date, was a great offender for tyre noise and the engine was not as smooth nor free from roar at the higher speeds as we should like.

I am sure you will agree that in the interests of all concerned it would be wise to change this car for whichever one you consider we should have in its place. We do not mind which car you give us, although the car we should prefer - if we could have it - would be 34-EX because of the type of body fitted, but if any other car is available earlier which you would prefer us to have from the chassis point of view we should be quite pleased to exchange for that.

We are quite content for the moment to carry on with one car, so as not to reduce the number of cars you have running, but we would naturally like to have the best we can get for demonstration work.

We will arrange the changeover just as soon as you are ready for us to do so.
