X3730 To SP.{Mr Spinney} from Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. to R.{Sir Henry Royce} Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}4/M12.12.22. RE. MAYTHORN SALOON X.3730. Mr. Royce is still strongly of the opinion that this car should be put right even if it would cost a little (although we think that possibly the coachbuilders would do some of it free of charge) in order to make full use of the money originally spent on the body. If Sales are agreed we think this car should go to the coachbuilders as soon as it can possibly be spared, and we would like to have particulars sent here of the new screen and front seats, together with a drawing of the body if one is available.
