SUGGESTED CONNECTING PIPE BETWEEN FRONT & REAR FLOAT CHAMBERS. THE OBJECT OF THE ABOVE CONNECTING PIPE IS TO GIVE THE MAX. FUEL FLOW WITH THE MIN. VARIATION IN FUEL LEVEL AND INCREASE AVAILABLE SUPPLY WHEN DIVING. WITHOUT THIS PIPE THE HIGH LEVEL OF FUEL IN FRONT CHAMBER TENDS TO LIFT THE FLOAT AND THEREBY CLOSE THE NEEDLE VALVE WITH RESULTING REDUCTION IN FUEL FLOW.
