BENTLEY - VALVE TAPPET CLEARANCE.
---------------------------------

The Experimental Department as the result
of a series of long period testing wish to reduce the
clearance on the Bentley exhaust valve tappet from
.006 to .004 for use in England.

For Continental use they wish to retain the
present clearance of .006.

The objection to the larger clearance is one
of noise.
