Copy. COPY OF REPORT FROM HK.{Col. T. Harker - Sales} ----------------------- Paris, 18.12.30. To Mac.{Mr Macintosh} from Hk.{Col. T. Harker - Sales} 26-Ex. In reply to your Whr{Mr Wheeler}/Macll/D3.12.30, the maximum speed which I was able to get out of the above car on my trip to Brussels was 92 m.p.h. on the speedometer. I would like to suggest that in a "Continental Touring Saloon", the speedometer might be graduated in kilometers. I find the Klaxon Horn not nearly powerful enough when overtaking cars in winter which have all windows closed up. The front brakes needed adjusting and the petrol gauge did not always function. The springing I thought remarkably good and I specially sat in the back over some very bad roads in the North of France and was surprised with the way the car rode. One or two body squeaks (not rattles) developed which I was unable to locate. The car was a great success amongst men customers but their women-folk did not as a rule like getting in and out of the back seats. (Sgd) Hk.{Col. T. Harker - Sales} | ||
