Introduction of controllable shock dampers on the Bentley 'C' Series and the location of their operating lever.

along with the job of trying to get the RR scheme of controllable shock dampers on the Bentley so that they can be introduced on "C" Series.

As regards the lever to operate them, it is suggested that, as on the Bentley the small lever on the steering wheel for starting will still be wanted, the lever to control the shock dampers should take the place of the lamp dimming device and let the latter be operated by a foot switch.

It seems to me important that it should be somewhere where it does not have to be fitted up by the coachbuilder as would be the case if it were on the dashboard.
