Origin. To reduce troubles experienced with present type. Drawing No. X No. 634. Part List Experimental Test Report. This is a modified slipper wheel with low inertia, and the slipper wheels controlled by W&G springs. Experimental tests have been in progress with this type of slipper wheel for several years. Road Test Report. Run 16,000 miles on 12-EX including 10,000 miles in France. Run 3,000 miles on 22-EX. Fitted to production chassis to confirm improvement. A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to Customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in Works. C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
