J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} for R.{Sir Henry Royce} 6.2.14. Dal/G6214. Coachbuilders Department suggest that we should abandon the practice of fitting a fixed angle to the back of the dash on L to E type cars, and instead, fit the four studs which are used in the semi-flexible detachment of scuttle to dashboard, shewn in the accompanying print. They say that the coachbuilders almost invariably remove the fixed angle, and in any case, we advise them that it is better not to attach the scuttle rigidly to the dashboard. Will you please say if this meets with your approval. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} [Handwritten Signature] X393 | ||
