R.R. 28a m (500 T) (S.E. S:?. 21-4-18) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 1129 X3403 June 15. 1918. EH. from BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} BY1/P15618. EPICYCLIC GEAR. HESSBRIGHT BALL BEARINGS. Referring to our memo BY6/P24418 on the above subject, we would like to get the bearings in question tested as quickly as possible, as they will give us some reliable information in regard to steel cages. I have received a memo from Mr Olley, copy of which I attach. It should be clearly understood that it is not proposed to use these bearings for the American Epicyclic Gear Planets, but that they have succeeded in obtaining spigotted cages in phosphor bronze.
