Park Ward's on Tuesday last, and found all the work progressing to programme. We were able to settle several queries. As far as we can see the approximate delivery dates for the bodies will be as follows :- Expl. 33-EX. August 3rd./35. Demonstration 34-EX. August 10th./35. Demonstration 35-EX. August 17th./35. We shall get Messrs. Park Ward & Co. to give us several days warning of the actual dates, to enable transport to be arranged for. Three of the jigs have been delivered and the remaining three are almost ready. During the month of August at Derby, with Messrs. Sanderson & Holmes, we have to mount three bodies and finish off three cars 33-EX., 34-EX., and 35-EX., as well as to fit up nine sets of front wings and aprons on the Show Chassis. Most of this work will consist of panel beating which can be done only by Messrs. Sanderson and Holmes, who have only one man Mr. Holland. We are wondering whether we shall meet with delay if we do not get more than one man on the job. We suggest that we might discuss the programme with Messrs. Sanderson & Holmes so that we may be prepared when the time arrives. We propose calling at Messrs. Park Ward's Works on Tuesday next when on the way back to Derby. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
