To EJJ. X1209 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Mths{Reg Matthews}:24/KW.2.12.35. No. 5 Test House. We have now had the Robinson Heater in this test house for some time, and we cannot say that it is working at all efficiently. The heat appears to be placed too high in the test house, and we suggest that it should be lowered considerably, preferably to ground level. We find that now we have had a fairly cold spell the general temperature of the lower part of the test house is only 45°F.{Mr Friese}, whereas above 12 ft. the temperature is 70°F.{Mr Friese} From these figures we should say that providing the heater is placed in a much lower position, it would be capable of heating the place efficiently. Mr. Robinson himself suggested that the heater should be lowered considerably when he was last in the test house. Will you please have this carried out as soon as possible, as now that East winds are blowing this test house resembles an ice house. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/R.Matthews. | ||
