Further to our memo. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}8/MH.{M. Huckerby}15.7.38, regarding the preparation of the above for a transport car to and from Crewe, will you please include the following.
(1) New Cylinder block with 3.T. slot pistons and 3.R.R. Wraith pistons. All pistons to have Wraith type of rings in order not to confuse wear issue of the two types of pistons.
We have supplied the pistons and rings for the job.
R.R. pistons to be fitted to No.1 3 and 5 bores.
T.slot pistons to be fitted to No.2, 4 and 6 bores.
(2) Fit latest type camwheel ECD.803.
