All temperatures under running conditions and reduced to the mean ats. temperature in the shade for the tests of 20°C.
Condition of car for test: Complete undershield and tail, 17-tooth axle, 5 to 1 comp: ratio, turbulent head, aluminium engine. No.1 modified camshaft, heat shield for silencer.
The temp. of the front seats was taken in the centre of the car immediately under the instrument board, that of the rear seats just above the floor boards in line with the front of the rear seats in the centre of the car.
