To Mr. [REDACTED]. FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to - OI. [REDACTED] HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X3199 EAC. BATTERY IGNITION DISTRIBUTOR. The 2 sample distributor mouldings shewing H.T. tracking have been duly received and examined. It was noticed that there is considerable corrosion of the spring washers underneath the H.T. contact posts. Mr. Royce remarks - "Firstly, stop this corrosion. Can we "do without the spring washers on these posts? "Secondly, might not the acid in the dis- "tributor head produce a coating making the internal "surface of the distributor moulding conductive? "Compare with other ignition systems. What do the "Delco people do to overcome this trouble? " E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Handwritten notes: X3199, X4357, X8690, X8691 | ||
