Millenite Brake Drums

Arising out of the various discussions with the Representatives of Messrs. Lake & Elliot re above, you will recollect this question of Millenite [strikethrough] was discussed very fully with Mr. Lake before we standardised same on the chassis.

Originally he expressed the opinion that it would be necessary to bind the drum itself with steel wire, but later, on representations from us, he withdrew this suggestion.

Meantime he has now written as copy attached, and despatched yesterday, marked for the attention of Mr. Martindale (Experimental Shop) two micro sections - copy of covering letter attached also.

ROY.{Sir Henry Royce}

ENCLOSURES Copies of 2 letters dated respectively 17th and 22nd February.
